“Your Life” Ohlhauser Family | August 2025

You may recognize these cute faces from my 2024 posts, and I was so lucky to see them again in 2025!

This time we got the whole crew involved… including the dogs (which is always a win in my book 🐾). One of my favorite parts of family photography is getting to watch families grow and capture each new season together.

I’m so grateful for the families who trust me year after year to preserve these memories. And yes… your pets are family too, so bring them along!

Will I drive out of town to capture a senior session for a friend? HECK YES!

We had such a great time exploring the countryside and creating photos that reflected this senior’s personality, interests, favorite places, and the memories that make this season so special.

That’s one of my favorite things about senior sessions, they should feel personal to you. Whether that means your hometown, a meaningful location, your hobbies, or places that tell your story, I love creating a session that captures more than just how this season looked… but what it felt like.

Your senior year only happens once, let’s make it uniquely yours.

“Your Life” Kim’s Family | August 2025

When this mama asked if I would take photos of her sweet girls with their horses, I was absolutely ecstatic! Any time animals are involved, I’m all in.🐴

What made it even more special was turning it into more than just one type of session, we included siblings and grandparents too and captured so many meaningful memories together.

And let this be your reminder: you don’t need perfect sunshine for beautiful photos. Cloudy days can create the softest light and the most beautiful moments.

“Your Year” Austin | Class of 2025 | June 2025

Let’s kick off my 2025 post updates with a very special milestone, my nephew’s graduation! 🎓

Since he was already dressed up and looking sharp, I asked… okay, strongly encouraged… him to let me sneak in a quick photo session before all the celebration began. And I’m so glad we did! His style, confidence, and (something I discovered that day) his speaking skills were all top notch. I’m so proud of him.

Since family was already gathered, we also took time for a few family photos, and honestly, that’s your reminder: if your loved ones are together for a special occasion, don’t miss the chance to capture it. Graduations, celebrations, and milestone moments make some of the most meaningful family photos.

“Your Life” Dralle Family | November 2024

Did you know my family is blessed with the very best neighbors? ❤️ This sweet family has always treated my kids like their own and welcomed us with so much kindness over the years.

One of my favorite parts of going back through these sessions and updating these posts is getting to see just how much these little guys have grown. It’s such a beautiful reminder of why family photos matter, because the seasons change faster than we realize, and these memories become more meaningful every year.

And with this post, we officially wrap up my 2024 sessions! Thank you to every family who trusted me to capture your moments this year. I can’t wait to keep sharing and reliving all of the memories from 2025 next! 📸

“Your Life” Schwab Family | October 2024

When friends become family, you make sure to capture every season together, and this crew definitely holds a permanent piece of my heart. ❤️ I just adore these cuties and always love getting to photograph them.

I know I often share the more posed and smiley images, but some of my favorite moments are the unexpected ones, the laughter, the silliness, the little in-between moments that show everyone exactly as they are.

So if you’re worried your family session has to be perfectly posed, don’t be. We’ll absolutely get those classic photos, but I’ll also capture the fun, candid moments that often end up becoming the favorites for years to come. ✨

Family photos aren’t just for the years when the kids are little, your big “kids” deserve to have these moments captured too. Every season of life matters, and those memories only become more meaningful with time.

I’m so grateful this mom reached out years ago and trusted me to capture their family through the years. It has been such a joy watching the boys grow and documenting each new chapter along the way.

No matter your children’s ages, it’s never too late to update your family photos and preserve this season exactly as it is. I can only hope I get to keep capturing these memories for them well into adulthood.

“Your Life” Buechler Family | October 2024

One of the things I love most about photographing families year after year is watching kids grow comfortable and confident in front of the camera. When family photos become part of your story, they stop feeling like a chore and start feeling familiar, and even fun!

This young man is the perfect example. He always shows up with the best attitude, the biggest smile, and these days he even brings his own ideas to our sessions, which I absolutely love.

Getting to watch families grow and capture each season along the way is such a gift, and I never take for granted being chosen to preserve these memories. I feel so lucky to be part of their story year after year.

“Your Life” Jess & Ava | October 2024

I started taking photos of this sweet girl before she was even born, and it’s been such a gift to watch her grow into the beautiful young lady she is today.

These two always bring so much love, joy, and connection to every session, and getting to capture their story through the years is one of the parts of photography I treasure most.

Photos become even more meaningful with time, and I’m so grateful to have been trusted with preserving these memories. I truly hope I get to keep capturing their story for many more years to come.

“Your Life” Schauer Family | September 2024

Speaking of extended family from my last post… here they are! And seriously, how sweet are they?!

One thing I loved about these sessions was that we planned them back-to-back so everyone could update their family photos at the same time… and then they all went out for food together afterward. Honestly, that might be one of my favorite family photo traditions yet!

If getting everyone together can feel like a challenge, turn it into an event, schedule the photos, then celebrate with a meal afterward (we’ll call it gathering… not bribing 😉). It’s such a fun way to make memories while capturing them at the same time.

“Your Life” Schauer Family | September 2024

This family never misses when it comes to outfits, I’m pretty sure I need to start taking notes for my own family photos because they always show up with the most beautiful color combinations and styling!

But even more than that, they’re one of those families I’ve been so lucky to photograph through so many seasons of life; from their wedding, to adding pets, to extended family photos, to welcoming babies, and now watching their kiddos grow into absolute pros in front of the camera.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to tell a family’s story year after year and see all the little changes along the way. And now I have to know… what color palette are we bringing this year? ✨

“Your Life” Subart Family | September 2024

A growing family is always a wonderful reason to schedule family photos, but so is a new home!

This sweet family was celebrating two big milestones at once: making memories in a new space while capturing this season of life together. I’m so grateful they trusted me to document such meaningful moments for their family.

Family photos don’t have to wait for a holiday card, new beginnings, big changes, and everyday milestones deserve to be remembered too.
